Origin and Foundation:

The Deanship of Library Affairs was established at Najran University in 1428 AH (1428 AH). It is one of the university's new supporting deanships. It serves students, faculty members, lecturers, and teaching assistants, oversees libraries, and secures various information sources. The deanship looks forward to implementing its future plans with the support and patronage of His Excellency the University President and the university's vice presidents, to meet the needs of beneficiaries.
The Deanship of Library Affairs is responsible for securing, preparing, and displaying information resources that serve the university's specializations, including scientific sources and references, manuscripts, whether originals, photocopies, books, or scientific periodicals. The library also works to inform staff, researchers, and students in the university's various colleges and departments of the latest scientific trends in their fields of specialization by providing information sources of various types and formats, organizing and processing them technically and electronically to facilitate retrieval and communication.
